I’ve got a plan to make my time at Dreamforce productive without overwhelming myself.
I wanted to share my top 3 tips…
- Look at My Project Map. I look at what my upcoming KPIs are and determine where I need the most help. I then match the educational sessions and my tradeshow booth visits based on what’s most important to me. Check out the Dreamforce Schedule.
https://www.salesforce.com/dreamforce/schedule/ - Schedule Pre-Meetings. If there are specific people or companies I want to meet at Dreamforce, I don’t wait until November 19th to meet them. I like to reach out in advance to chat for about 15 minutes to determine whether there’s a match on my future project map. If there is a match, I then try to plan my trade show booth visits and perhaps personal meetings in San Francisco to learn more.
- Pace Myself and Enjoy the Moment. Dreamforce has over 2,700 sessions and workshops. It’s easy to want to go to as many sessions and networking events as possible. I categorize my to do list: must do and can do post-Dreamforce. If I don’t magically get additional hours in the day and super strength to do it all, I make sure I keep a list of people and organizations to talk with after Dreamforce. Check out Dreamforce Sessions.
