About Our Speaker
Gretchen Steenstra has worked with a variety of associations, both as a staff member and as a consultant, from a small association of 12 staff members to a large association with over 120 staff members. Her career has been a journey starting in the membership department, followed by IT project management to technology leadership. Gretchen works for DelCor as a Strategic Consult where she works on projects ranging from CIO services to system selections. One of her major contributions has been the ability to work with business staff members to translate and connect their business needs and goals into concepts that are understood by technology professionals. As a business owner as well as liaison between staff members and technical teams, Gretchen brings experience and perspective from both ‘sides’ of the technology discussion. In addition to ASAE volunteer experience, Gretchen is a founding and board member of Association Women Technology Champions (AWTC).
